Biography:

Joanne Michelle was born in the beach town of Chelsea, just outside of Melbourne, Australia. She began her career as a model in her teens and was nominated by Elite Model Management in New York to enter their annual Look of the Year contest in Australia.

During her first visit to Los Angeles, she discovered her hidden passion for acting. Joanne studied at the Art house Theatre Company in Melbourne.

Her first play was the musical, A Chorus of Disapproval. She continued her training by studying at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and AIDA in Los Angeles.

Joanne has appeared in numerous plays in Los Angeles including the long running hit show, The Chicago Club Rumboogie and is member of the Celebration Theatre in Hollywood. She is a bicoastal resident of Los Angeles and New York.
