ABOUT ME I am a native of Australia and bicoastal resident of Los Angeles and New York and a proud vegan-sexual. An animal lover all my life, I have been a dedicated and passionate vegan since 1994. My very first magazine cover was for New Vegetarian and Natural Health. I was as a Lettuce Lady for PETA’s print ad campaign, a sponsor for the Choose Cruelty Free “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” poster launch and fashion show in Melbourne. I am now promoting Nutiva in the USA. I have featured in numerous publications such as The Vegan, Vegan Stories, Update, Club Veg, Animal Liberation Victoria. Peace, love and all things VEGAN!

VEGAN VIRGIN RECIPES
Breakfast:
Hot Quinoa Breakfast (Gluten Free)
1/4 - 1/3 cup dry Quinoa
1 Tbs almond butter or any nut butter of your choice
Dash of cinnamon
Boil quinoa for 15 - 20 minutes and then strain. Mix in
almond butter and cinnamon with the quinoa, add a little hot water and serve.
For those with allergies to nuts, you can use 1-2 Tbs flax
seed meal in replace of nut butter and add 1-2 Tbs shelled hemp seeds by
Nutvia.
Berry Bliss (Gluten Free)
1 cup unsweetend plain soy yogurt
1/3 - 1/2 cup mixed fresh or frozen berries
1 Tbs flax seed meal
1-2 tbs walnuts
Mix ingredients and enjoy!
Dessert:
Super Raw Hemp/Coconut Sundae (Gluten Free)
1 Avocado
1/4 cup raw cacao powder
1-2 Tbs Extra Virgin Coconut Oil by Nutiva
Sprinkle shelled hemp seeds by Nutiva
Mix ingredients together in a bowl and place in freezer until
just chilled. Then serve.
Appetizer / Lunch / Snack:
Tropical Nori Rolls (Gluten Free)
1/4 - 1/3 cup dry Quinoa
1-4 Nori sheets
Cucumber, red pepper, yellow zucchini sliced thin
Boil quinoa for 15-20 mins and then strain. Mix 1 Tbs of
extra virgin coconut oil and 1 Tbs shelled hemp seeds both by Nutiva in to
quinoa. Let quinoa sit and cool. Cut nori sheets in half and place 2 - 4 Tbs
of quinoa or more if desired in to each half nori sheet. Add sliced
vegetables and roll nori sheet. Ready to serve.
